Is Jesus God?

Yes. If Jesus is not God, His blood sacrifice on the cross would be meaningless because only God can take away the sins of the world (2 Corinthians 5:21) "The Word became flesh": Jesus is God in the flesh (John 1: 1, 14).

"For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him" (2 Corinthians 5:21). "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" John 1:1).

"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth" (John 1:14).

Thomas the disciple declared "My Lord and my God" in John 20:28.

Here, Jesus is once again addressed as God: "Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works" (Titus 2:12-14).

Jesus Himself said, "I and the Father are one" (John 10:30), That is, God the Father and Jesus are of one essence.

Further, in the following verse the Father speaks of His Son; "O GOD":

"But to the Son He says: "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom"

We also know that in the book of Revelation John was told not to worship anyone but God by an angel that appeared to him (Revelation 19:10). Throughout Scripture Jesus is worshipped (Matthew 2:11; 14:33; 28:9; 17; Luke 24:52; John 9:38).
